It's a documentary of the Sudanese Lost Boys. Fits right in with what we're reading. I'm going to go see it tonight, so I'll letcha know how it is.
It's something I think about often, but just wanted to say- the little boy Deng is telling his story to Achak- a story that all of these boys have. Their family is gone, they have no home, they have to idea what their future is. Deng goes to the SPLA camp and finds a father figure. They don't care who it is as long as it gives them a purpose and person to be there for them. One day the camp is destroyed and he is alone again. Life throws curveballs. We have no idea what situation we will be in one moment from now. All we really have in life is this moment.
And as Achak was thinking to Micheal, TV Boy, it could be worse. He has no parents, but at least he has food, clothes, teeth. It can always be worse. And all we have is this moment.
